Let Fly Denali take you on the ONLY scenic flight offered from the Denali National Park entrance area that lets you land on one of Denali's (Mt. McKinley's) pristine glaciers! Depart from the Healy River Airport right on the outskirts of the national park and make way along the scenic and ever-changing Alaska Range. Experience 100 minutes of flight time over the beautiful Denali National Park and witness sights that you can only see by airplane. Our planes provide interactive headsets allowing your pilot to narrate your tour and answer questions. Fly Denali can offer incredible views of various glaciers and mountain peaks, ultimately landing on a glacier just miles from the base of North America's highest peak. Training sled dogs is a year-round affair for four-time Iditarod champion Jeff King. He is is recognized as the “Winningest Musher in the World.” His victories include not only the 1,049 mile Iditarod Sled Dog Race in 1993, 1996, 1998, and 2006, but also over two dozen first place finishes in races all across Alaska. Each summer we share the world’s finest sled dogs and puppies with visitors world wide at our location in Denali Park, Alaska.

OLD SOURDOUGH STUDIO is a very fun activity that results in a memorable souvenir that was made in Alaska and you help make it. We also have a very nice gallery of longtime, local photographer JIMMY TOHILL'S FINE ART ALASKA PHOTOGRAPHY. We offer metal, canvas, and archival paper prints in many sizes and we ship. You will also find JIMMY TOHILL'S THE SPIRIT OF ALASKA BOOKS AND CALENDARS, note cards and posters as well as a nice selection of locally crafted artwork and gifts.

Join us for a tour of a local Iditarod and Yukon Quest racing kennel. Spend some time with the charismatic Alaska Husky atheletes and talk to experienced mushers, Paige Drobny and Cody Strathe, about their time on the race trail. Summer guests will be taken on a ride to experience all the excitement that dog mushing has to offer. Squid Acres also offers winter sled rides, day trips and multi-day expeditions near Denali.
