Holy Mary of Guadalupe Catholic Church is the local parish serving the communities of Healy, Ferry and Denali. Year-round Mass: Sunday 10am in Healy at 530 Carbon Way. Summer Mass: (Memorial Day - Labor Day). Sunday 8:00am near Denali National Park & Preserve at Holland America Denali Lodge. Location of this service isthe Gold Nugget dinner theater building. You can use the property shuttle and be dropped off for a short walk. Because we are located within a Missionary Diocese (2500sqm) area, the priests are often traveling and presiding at multiple parishes which means that some Sundays there will be a communion service lead by a deaconinstead of a priest. From the George Parks Highway turn east onto Healy Spur Road, travel approm. 1/2 mile and make a left on School Road, just past the Tri_-Valley Community Center. bear right at the wye in the road. Training sled dogs is a year-round affair for four-time Iditarod champion Jeff King. He is is recognized as the “Winningest Musher in the World.” His victories include not only the 1,049 mile Iditarod Sled Dog Race in 1993, 1996, 1998, and 2006, but also over two dozen first place finishes in races all across Alaska.
